| 1911-1920s | During the early years, Dominion Construction was involved in notable projects including the BC Sugar Refining Company, Famous Players Corporation, T. Eaton &Company, Woodwards and the Westminster Paper Company. | |
| 1939 | Stuart Olson, a carpenter from Sweden immigrated to Edmonton and started the Company. | |
| 1940-1960s | Stuart Olson is a small but thriving construction company. Many client relationships were formed during these years and expertise was developed in the construction of food processing and light industrial facilities. | Dominion developed the "Package Plan" (obtain a site, design a building, construct it, furnish it and assist with interim or long-term financing). In the 1960's, Dominion partnered with Great West Life to develop land and construct the Bentall Centre. |
| 1967-1970 | Allan Olson, Stuart's son, assumed management of the Company. This prompted dramatic growth in size, expertise and geographic area throughout western Canada. | Dominion acquired Wyder Electric, Peterson Electrical Construction Company and Tryco Installations, out of which came Camem Systems. |
| 1970s-1980s | Stuart Olson acquired Bennett &White in Calgary; the firm responsible for many substantial projects in Calgary including Glenmore Dam and Hudson's Bay Downtown. Stuart Olson quickly gained a reputation as a major builder for the commercial, institutional and high-rise residential markets in the Vancouver area. |

| 1990 | Stuart Olson Joined the Churchill Corporation, a diversified construction company based in Edmonton, listed on the TSX (symbol CUQ). | Seacliff Holdings becomes 100% owner of Dominion Construction. Projects completed include General Motors Place, Canada Way Business Park, Richmond City Hall, Calgary Roundup Centre, McKenzie Towne Centre and several SkyTrain Stations |
| 2000-2007 | The Stuart Olson Blueprint was created in 2004 - our Corporate Identification Statement. People. Building. Progress. becomes the corporate positioning statement. The Northern Alberta Branch opens a Small Projects Division, leading to significant increases in branch revenue. The BC and Southern Alberta branch follow suit in 2009. |
